SRAR AI Series · 2026 to 2027

AI For REALTORS®.
Five Rungs. One Ladder.

One 45-minute class per rung. Zoom. Recorded. Free to Southland Regional Association of REALTORS® members. Rung 1 ran August 26, 2026. Rungs 2 through 5 are proposed for the 2027 calendar. Every class builds on the one before it, and every attendee leaves with a kit they can run the next morning.

// The Premise

Tools Change Every 90 Days. Skills Compound.

Most agents attend one AI class, leave with 30 prompts, and are back where they started in a month because the tools moved. This ladder teaches the layer underneath the tools: onboard the AI, give it a job, connect the jobs, put them on a trigger, then let an agent act under a permission ladder. Each rung is vendor neutral. The same framework runs on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or whatever the brokerage approves.

Each class is one live build on screen, not a tour of features. Each ends with a seven-day challenge so the skill gets used before it fades. Each is recorded, so a member who missed a rung can catch up on SRAR On Demand and still climb.

Five Rungs. One Per Quarter.

The AI Reality Check for Real Estate Agents

The AI is educated. It is not onboarded.

Five-file onboarding kit (who I am, how I sound, how I work, what I know, what I will not do). The briefing prompt. Train through correction. The S.A.F.E. publication gate. The seven-step visibility chain so AI systems recognize you as a credible professional.

2
Low-Middle · Proposed 2027

From Chatbot to Workflow

Stop Prompting. Start Operating.

The first class gave the AI your identity. This class gives it a job.

3
Middle · Proposed 2027

From Workflow to System

One Listing. Ten Outputs. Zero Retyping.

Rung 2 built one job. Rung 3 connects the jobs so one verified fact sheet feeds everything a listing needs.

4
Middle-High · Proposed 2027

The Supervised Automation Stack

Missed Calls, Follow-Up, and Lead Response That Run While You Show Property.

Rungs 2 and 3 built systems you run. Rung 4 lets the system run on a trigger, with you as the gate.

5
High · Proposed 2027

Agentic Real Estate

From Assistant to Operator. And How to Stay in Command.

Chatbots write. Agents act. Rung 5 shows what an AI agent can do inside a real estate practice, and the permission ladder that keeps the licensee in charge.

// Why A Ladder

Why Not A Menu.

A menu of AI classes produces tourists. A ladder produces operators. The rungs follow the way skills are actually built: know the tool, apply it to one job, analyze how jobs connect, evaluate what should run without you, then create something new with it in command. Each class assumes the one before it and loads what it built. That is why an agent who climbs all five in a year is running a different business than one who attended five unrelated webinars.

The homework matters as much as the hour. Every rung ends with a seven-day challenge and a resource page. The challenge is small, one workflow, one fact sheet, one automation, one permission rung, and it is designed to be finished, not admired.

Suggested scheduling: one class per quarter in 2027, Tuesday through Thursday mornings at 9 or 10 AM, which is when SRAR classes draw best. If the committee prefers two classes per year, the series runs through 2028. The rungs can be approved as a package or one at a time. Rung 2 was submitted September 1, 2026. Rungs 3 through 5 are submitted with it as the full picture.

Instructor: Connor MacIvor, REALTOR®, CalDRE #01238257, SYNC Brokerage. 27+ years in Santa Clarita Valley real estate. 43+ years writing code. 1,000+ brokers and agents trained in AI. Former SRAR board member. Delivered rung 1 to SRAR members on August 26, 2026.

// FAQ

Questions The Committee And Members Ask.

Do I have to take the classes in order?

It is built as a ladder, and each class loads what the one before it built. But every class is recorded for SRAR On Demand, and every resource page has the homework to catch up. Miss a rung, watch it, do the seven-day challenge, and you are current.

Which AI platform does the series use?

Whichever your brokerage allows. The frameworks (five files, Job Cards, fact sheets, the supervised loop, the permission ladder) are the same on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the AI layers now built into most real estate CRMs. Each class shows one and names the equivalents.

Is the series CE-eligible?

No. Non-CE. The series has not been submitted to the DRE for continuing education approval.

What does it cost SRAR members?

Nothing. Every class is free to members, on Zoom, 45 minutes including questions.

Can a brokerage or another association book the series?

Yes. The same five rungs run as a brokerage training track or as another association's education calendar. Email [email protected] with the group size and the dates you have in mind.

Does the instructor sell software in the class?

No. The classes are vendor neutral by design. Resource pages list the instructor's contact information and a free 15 to 30 minute architecture conversation for anyone who wants help after class. That is the whole pitch.
