imagesCAMA3AGC It is no surprise about the short sale inventory and it making up 80% of the current Real Estate Market for sale.  But what are the chances of you being the accepted offer?

Make sure your agent presses the agent representing the Seller to take the property off of the market when the seller (human) accepts your offer.  This will assist with your Offer being the only game in town.  If the listing agent is unwilling to do this – it could be a red flag.

Also – if the Short Sale is tenant occupied – this would be a Red Flag as well.  Something to be concerned with – when Short sales are usually not allowed for investors.  These are questions that are going to be asked and have to be answered truthfully during the negotiation process.
