We just concluded our latest Santa Clarita real estate radio show where we discussed some “Realtors” that will save the best for last.

Santa Clarita homes and real estate agentsWhile I was called on this tactic by a friend of mine after showing the best property last, it was not my intention.

However, when showing bunches of real estate listings per week, it tends to happen from time to time.

LOL – It’s just that most clients never mention this tactic that is talked about online and in legends of Lore…

The funny thing was we did not expect this home, built in the early 1970’s, to be able to compete with the newer real estate listings that were on the market for sale.

However, it trumped them all. The neighborhood in Valencia Hills was very established. The neighboring homes were solidly show pieces, and the subject property was upgraded in all the right places.

There was no slope in the back yard. There was a standard rectangular home lot with lots of room. The home itself had Viking appliances and some of the most impressive hardwood flooring possible.

The home had us from “hello”, right when we walked into the home from the front door.

It was a true showpiece and able to mandate all of the 610k purchase price for 2200 square feet…

We shall see how it goes. It might be that we get it. It could be that we are countered. Maybe our VA offer will fall through the cracks if they have multiple offers.
