Introduction to Connor with Honor

Hi there, I’m Connor with Honor, also known as Connor MacIvor, CALDRE #1238257. I’m a Realtor in Santa Clarita, California, serving the Greater Los Angeles cities and counties, including Orange County and Ventura County Cities. I’ve been selling homes and representing both Buyers and Home sellers since 1998. I was also a First Responder and am honorably retired from that previous life as a lifesaver on the front lines in the City of Los Angeles. I’ve been struggling with being fat, obese, for the majority of my life, as a child and as an adult. It wasn’t until I became early 50’s and started to ponder a greater significance in my existence. It was then that I used fasting and hormone therapy to get into my best self with a continuing unrelenting drive to get better, stronger, faster and wiser.

Open houses have seen a shift in trends in recent years. While they were typically held on Sundays in the afternoon, agents now strategically plan open houses to attract potential buyers. For instance, if a house is located near a popular shopping center, the open house may coincide with peak foot traffic times to attract more visitors.

Agents may also hold open houses more frequently during the week to generate more business and referrals. However, it’s important for buyers to be cautious when attending open houses, as some properties may already have offers accepted or be under contract. Agents may also request identification or ask visitors to sign in, as a way to track interest in the property.

As for the current real estate market, the Santa Clarita Valley and greater Los Angeles cities are still in a seller’s market, with a limited inventory of available homes. Despite historically higher interest rates, there is still a high demand for real estate, making it a competitive market for buyers.

Strategic Open House Marketing

Open houses are no longer limited to Sundays in the afternoon. Agents now strategically plan open houses to attract more potential buyers. Here are a few key trends in open house marketing:

Buyer Protection in Open Houses

When attending an open house, it’s essential for buyers to protect themselves and be cautious. Here are some key ways to ensure buyer protection during open houses:

Property Status

Be aware that some properties may already have offers accepted or be under contract, so it’s important to verify the availability of the property with the listing agent.

Identification and Sign-Ins

Agents may request identification or ask visitors to sign in to track interest in the property and provide feedback to the seller.

Ethical Considerations

It’s important for agents to be transparent and ethical when hosting open houses to ensure a positive experience for potential buyers.

Transition to Fat Burning Segment

After providing the latest real estate update, I’m excited to transition to the fat burning segment of the show. In this segment, I’ll be sharing my personal journey with fasting and hormone therapy to achieve my best self. If you’re interested in learning more about fat burning and muscle building, you’re in the right place.

Connor’s Fat Burning Journey

Welcome to the fat burning segment of the show! I’ve been on a journey to shed excess fat and build muscle, and I’m here to share my experience with you. I started a fasting regimen to address my weight, and in just six days, I dropped 20 pounds. However, a small indulgence caused a slight weight increase, but I’m ready to tackle it with protein refeed days and another round of fasting.

Through my journey, I’ve learned the benefits of dry fasting in transitioning from burning sugar to burning body fat. It’s essential to consult with a medical professional before starting any fasting regimen. By making the switch to a low-carb, high-protein diet, I’ve been able to maintain my fat-burning state and achieve significant weight loss.

One key lesson I’ve learned is the importance of resilience. If you slip up on your fitness journey, it’s crucial to bounce back quickly and continue your progress. This mindset has been integral to my success in achieving and maintaining my best shape.

Stay tuned for more insights into fat burning, muscle building, and overall wellness. Thanks for joining me on this journey, and remember, you have the power to transform your health and fitness. Over and out!

Benefits of Fasting and Dry Fasting

Fasting and dry fasting have numerous benefits, including:

Weight Loss

Fasting can lead to rapid weight loss by promoting the burning of body fat as a source of energy.

Muscle Building

Intermittent fasting combined with resistance training can aid in muscle building and strength gain.

Metabolic Health

Fasting can improve metabolic health by reducing insulin resistance, lowering blood sugar levels, and decreasing inflammation.

Mental Clarity

Many individuals experience improved mental clarity and focus during fasting periods.

Cellular Repair

During fasting, the body initiates cellular repair processes and removes waste materials from cells.

Anti-Aging Effects

Some studies suggest that fasting may have anti-aging effects by promoting the regeneration of cells and tissues.

Disease Prevention

Fasting has been linked to a reduced risk of developing chronic diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer.

Longevity

Research on animals has shown that fasting may extend lifespan, although more studies are needed to confirm this effect in humans.

It’s important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any fasting regimen, especially for individuals with underlying health conditions or those taking medications.

Healthy Eating and Lifestyle Choices

Adopting healthy eating and lifestyle choices is essential for overall well-being. Here are some tips to consider:

Balanced Diet

Consume a balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats.

Hydration

Stay hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of water throughout the day. Proper hydration is crucial for bodily functions and overall health.

Regular Exercise

Engage in regular physical activity, such as cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises, to promote cardiovascular health and muscle strength.

Stress Management

Practice stress-reducing techniques, such as meditation, deep breathing, or yoga, to maintain mental and emotional well-being.

Adequate Sleep

Prioritize getting enough sleep each night, aiming for 7-9 hours, to support cognitive function, mood, and overall vitality.

Moderation

Practice portion control and moderation when enjoying indulgent foods or beverages to maintain a healthy balance in your diet.

Regular Health Check-Ups

Visit your healthcare provider for regular check-ups and screenings to monitor your health and address any potential concerns.

Positive Relationships

Cultivate positive relationships and social connections to support mental and emotional well-being.

By incorporating these healthy choices into your lifestyle, you can enhance your overall health and fitness, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and vibrant life.

The Importance of Resilience and Recovery

Resilience is crucial in achieving fitness and wellness goals. It’s normal to face setbacks or slip-ups along the way, but the ability to bounce back quickly and continue making progress is key.

Recovery is an essential part of any fitness journey. Giving your body the time it needs to rest and recuperate is just as important as the exercise itself. It allows your muscles to repair and grow stronger, leading to better overall fitness.

Understanding the importance of resilience and recovery can help individuals stay committed to their fitness and health goals, leading to long-term success and well-being.

Understanding Fruit Consumption and Moderation

Fruit consumption is a common component of a balanced diet, providing essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber. However, it’s important to be mindful of moderation when consuming fruits.

Fruits contain natural sugars, and consuming them in excess can lead to an increase in calorie intake and potential weight gain. It’s essential to be aware of portion sizes and the frequency of fruit consumption.

While fruit consumption is beneficial for overall health, it’s important to strike a balance and incorporate a variety of fruits into the diet while being mindful of portion control. This approach can support a well-rounded and healthy diet.

Tips for Overcoming Setbacks and Challenges

1. Embrace Resilience: When faced with setbacks, it’s crucial to have a resilient mindset. Understand that slip-ups are normal and part of the journey towards better health and fitness.

2. Bounce Back Quickly: Instead of dwelling on setbacks, focus on bouncing back quickly. The ability to recover and continue making progress is key to long-term success.

3. Stay Committed: Commitment to your health and fitness goals is essential. Even when faced with challenges, staying dedicated to your journey will lead to positive outcomes.

4. Seek Support: Surround yourself with a supportive network of friends, family, or fitness professionals who can encourage and guide you through challenges.

5. Learn from Setbacks: Use setbacks as learning opportunities. Reflect on what caused the setback and make adjustments to avoid similar challenges in the future.

6. Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself during challenging times. Avoid self-criticism and instead offer yourself compassion and understanding.

7. Set Realistic Expectations: Understand that progress takes time, and setbacks are a natural part of the process. Set realistic expectations to avoid feeling discouraged.

I’m Connor with Honor, AKA Connor MacIvor. I have lived in CA since 1990, when I came out to be an LAPD Police Officer. Life has a way of beating the heck out of you, as it did me. I am glad for the experiences and still have many more to go. I was able to finally beat the FAT problem I had for my entire pre-teen, teenage, and adult life up until I was 52 years old, back in 2021, when I was able to figure out what worked and how I wanted my journey to operate.

I sell houses, representing buyers and sellers in Santa Clarita, CA, and the greater Los Angeles Area. I have been a Realtor since 1998 when I started a career in that business. I joined the LAPD as a full-line reserve officer after 17 years of full-time service, staying until 2011 and honorably retiring.

If you need me, I’m here for you and yours. Thank you for reading what I posted online, and I appreciate you very much for taking your valuable time to do so.
